Last Days, USA 2005, 金馬影展

超脫末日，一位知名搖滾樂手結束自己生命以前的時光，在他住的漂亮大房子裡，還住了幾個朋友，但是他跟他們之間沒有互動，他避開他們，他們也不想跟他有所牽扯。很多人來找他，有黃頁廣告推銷員、經紀人、樂團朋友、偵探，被很多人需要著，但是他不想被找到，他沈醉在自己的世界裡。寂寞空虛到底了的靈魂。

想談談電影裡的兩首歌，一首是電視畫面裡Boyz II Men的MTV，我已認不出他們的長相跟歌曲，但是記得他們的聲音，Boyz II Men是我十多年前聽的音樂，聲音很快地帶著我回到那段時空，就是在那段時間裡，從深夜的廣播上聽到Kurt Cobain自殺的消息，雖然那是我第一次聽到Nirvana。看到電影裡面有著Kurt Cobain身影的Blake扭開電視機聽到Boyz II Men，畫面與我的生命連結了起來，那時間感，是如此地切身。

第二首歌是Velvet Underground的 “Venus In Furs”，就是Blake的朋友一個跟他要錢，一個請他幫忙歌詞的時候，唱機裡放的音樂。我一直喜歡這首歌，但是直到看電影的字幕翻譯，才曉得原來歌詞裡面是這麼感傷。 “I am tired, I am weary. I could sleep for a thousand years. A thousand dreams that would awake me. Different colors made of tears.”
