在information aesthetics看到這段很酷的影片，才認識了Paul Rand這個名字，原來很多大家很熟悉的公司商標，包括IBM、ABC在內，都是出自他的設計。很想記住這個名字，所以寫下來。

補個插曲，影片是白天的時候看到的，回家要寫的時候突然忘記是在哪看到的了，所以到rss reader的搜尋框打上名字，發現跳出來好多筆資料。原來好多人不斷地提到他，而我卻都沒看到…像是這個：Paul Rand – Corporate Identity Designs, Innovation and Excellence,The Politics of Design by Paul Rand, Paul & Ann Rand Children’s Books,這篇談logo設計的Design and the World Cup: what can we learn?。還沒細看，但先寫下來。

還有這個看起來很有質感讓人很想擁有的 Grid it! Notepad，都是根據名設計師所畫的格線做成的，包括 Jan Tschichold, Paul Rand, Le Corbusier, Josef Muller-Brockman, Willy Fleckhaus, Johannes Gutenberg, and David Hillman等人(via. Josh Spear )。真好玩…
